About Our Club

Simrik Football Club (registered as Simrik Football Club Inc.) is an initiative of enthusiastic Nepalese community members, with a primary focus on football related activities. However, on a long run SFC has a vision to eventually approach and engage wider Nepalese community living in Brisbane and surrounding for promoting the health and fitness, entertainments, cultural experiences and other community activities. From playing in a 5-A-Side Soccer field at Griffith Sports Multiplex with barely knowing anyone within a small number of groups, club has become a family of more than 40 players and approximately 100 general members within a year. The organisation’s is governed by board of members lead by the president is Mr. Sunil Parajuli. Mr. Parajuli is also a team captain, and the team is coached by Bijay Dhungel is a coach. Currently, SFC players do either or both of two training sessions – every Monday 5:30 – 7:30 PM at the Mt. Gravatt Oval of Griffith University and every Saturday morning from 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM at Arnwood Street Park, Annerley.

We welcome all interested participants to join our club for training sessions and request community members to join as a general member.

"From early 2017, a group of few enthusiasts started playing 5-A-Side football at Griffith Sports Multiplex. They barely knew each other, which has eventually turned into a family of more than 30 dedicated players within a year. Being recognised locally in Brisbane and other parts of the country and acknowledged globally, our success comes from all the dedicated players who actively participate in achieving club’s overall goal."
